I used to be the kind of person who compared myself with those girls and felt bad about my body, but I have learned to love my curves and accept my body the way it is.
Now, I focus on being healthy, exercising, and eating well, not because I am obsessed with an image but because I want to feel healthier and better.
I learned to love my body the way it is; I have cellulite, my legs are not skinny, and I don’t have a tiny waist, but I feel amazing, and I am doing my best to be healthy without extremes and feel sad about it.
Be proud of the things that make you unique and love yourself.
2. Looking for perfection
There is this idea that everything must be perfect to be accepted and avoid any shame, blame, or judgment feeling. You need to remember that there is no such thing as PERFECT; life is full of changes, risks, and obstacles.
It would be best to see these obstacles not as a bad thing but as an opportunity to grow and become a better person.
You don’t need to be perfect to be loved and accepted; be kind to yourself and change your mind from “I am not enough” to I ENOUGH.
3. Comparing To Others
This is another problem that is getting bigger with social media. We compare ourselves with everybody else, thinking that we are not good enough or our lives are not valuable. It is essential to remember that we are not the accomplishments we have; we are more than that; happiness does not come with material things; happiness starts the moment you learn to love yourself and work for what you want.
Learn to accept reality and don’t define yourself by other opinions. Instead of comparing your life with others, define your goals and work towards them; write down what makes you happy, your dreams, and your desires.
