Hola Beauties! Shiseido upgraded their award winner serum, and they were very kind and sent me a bottle to try. I have been using this product as part of my night routine for the last month and a half, and I want to share my experience so far. Here is a full review of the Shiseido Ultimune Serum.
Shiseido is not a brand that I usually purchase. I find their products expensive, and there are many affordable options that work great; however, I was really excited when I received this product in PR. I am always open to trying new products, especially high-end face serums.

This post is about Shiseido Ultimune Serum Review
1.Packaging
The Serum comes in a luxurious red glass bottle that feels heavy and has a unique shape. The bottle is slim and has a pump, making the application easier.
You can find this product in 3 different sizes: 15, 30, 50, and 75 ml.
2. Formula
This Serum is formulated with ImuGeneration Technology™ (botanical extracts of reishi mushroom and iris root), Exclusive NEW Ultimune Complex™ (Roselle flower and Heartleaf extract), Botanical Blend (Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract, Shiso, and Thyme). Also, it has a mix of floral fragrances called ImuCalm Compound, which helps calm the skin and reduce stress levels.
3. Texture
The Shiseido Ultimune Serum has a light texture that quickly absorbs into the skin. You can instantly feel your skin hydrated and softer; however, it leaves a weird tacky feeling in your hands, so I always have to wash them after the application.
The floral scent is a little strong, you can get used to it, but if you are sensitive, this might not work for you.
4. Results
Right after application, your skin feels hydrated and very soft, kind of like a velvety finish. You can also see a subtle natural glow.
Now I have been using this Serum for almost two months, and besides the hydration and softness, I don’t see a significant change in my skin that comes from this product ( Fine lines or my skin texture). I don’t know if you need to use it for a more extended period, but I’m not impressed with the results.
I do have to say that when it comes to hydration, it does a good job, so if you have dry skin, this product can be something you want to try.
Another important point to mention, I have sensitive skin – combination skin, and I did not get a bad reaction or extra oil in my skin from this Serum.
5. Price
This product is on the pricey side:
- 30 ML – 75 USD, 95 CAD
- 50 ML – 110 USD, 135 CAD
- 75 ML – 140 USD, 185 CAD
- 120 ML – 200 USD
Where to Buy
Final Thoughts
Okay Beauties, I’m grateful that I received this luxurious product to try, but unfortunately, it is not my favorite. I do like the hydration that provides, but other than that, I don’t see any major results for the price tag.
If you want to splurge on a hydrating serum, go for it ( Start with the small bottle), but if you want anti-aging results, other more affordable options work amazing, like the Loreal Midnight Serum.
I hope this Shiseido Ultimune Serum review was helpful, and leave a comment with your thoughts!
Love you all ❤
