Hola Beauties! Loreal added a new foundation to their Age Perfect line that sounds promising. This foundation offers excellent benefits, including long-term anti-aging results. I could not resist and put it to the test myself. Here is the Loreal Tinted Balm Foundation Review.
Age Perfect is a line created for mature skin that provides long-term skincare benefits. Every makeup product is designed to enhance natural beauty.
I have tried a few of the products of the Age Perfect line, and they are excellent! Let’s jump on the review and see if this foundation is worth it.

This post is about Loreal Tinted Balm Foundation Review
1. Packaging
The packing is very different from most foundations; the product comes in a glass container with a plastic lid that looks more like a moisturizer than a foundation.
I like how small the packing is since it is perfect for travel; however, I prefer products with a pump or in a tube where you don’t need to touch the product for the application.
The container has 0.63 Oz, 18 G, a little less than the usual size in most foundations, 1z.
2. Formula
The foundation has a balmy consistency that feels soft and hydrating to the touch; it feels like a lightweight moisturizer. The formula is infused with a Firming serum that, over time, restores skin firmness; the ingredients provide other benefits like smooths lines, even skin tone, and conceals imperfections.
It’s great to see makeup products that have skincare benefits; to see the results over time, you would have to use them every day, which is something that I don’t do, especially now that my job is from home, so I don’t wear makeup every day.
If you wear makeup daily and love natural looks, this foundation is excellent with those extra anti-aging benefits.
3. Results
Application
Before application, I prepped my skin with the usual skincare routine ( Serum, Moisturizer, and SPF) and used a pore blur primer.
You can apply this product with your fingers, but I used my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and finished it with my Elf Total Face Sponge. The application was effortless; the tinted balm blended beautifully into the skin.
Coverage
This tinted balm is light coverage, you can build up, but this will not cover your imperfections fully.
Finish
The finish is natural and glowy. The skin feels hydrated but not greasy; as I mentioned, you can still see imperfections, but skin tone and redness are covered. When I used the sponge to retouch the foundation, this helped to absorb the product and reduce the glowy finish.
Overall, the finish is very natural, the skin feels like skin, and the foundation is not heavy.
Longevity
I used the foundation for around 7 hours and noticed that my T-zone was really oily, but the foundation did not fall apart. I think this product is perfect for more normal to dry skin because if you have oily or combination skin, it gets oily and shiny.
My dry areas were okay; the foundation looked good, but my nose and forehead were out of control. I didn’t retouch because I wanted to see how the foundation worked during the day, but I’m sure that if you retouch, you might be okay.
Skin Reaction
I have sensitive skin, and this product worked great, with no breakouts, allergies, or adverse skin reactions.
Here is a look at my makeup in natural light.
4. Shades
This foundation only has 8 shades, so this is something that needs to be improved. I got mine in 10 Medium.
Initially, I was a bit worried because the shade looked a little darker, but it matched my skin tone once I blended it. Another bonus, the foundation did not oxidize.
5. Price
The Loreal Tinted Balm retails between 11 to 13 USD, 17 to 21 CAD.
Where to Buy
Shoppers Beauty Canada – 21.99 CAD
Final Thought
Okay Beauties, I really like how my skin looks with this foundation; the finish is natural and glowy, and the skin feels hydrated but not heavy. However, I think this product will be great when my skin gets dryer during winter because it gets very oily during the day.
If you have normal to dry skin, I believe this product is excellent, and if you have mature skin, you can benefit from all the fabulous skincare ingredients.
