Hola Beauties! When you start your days without the stress of running late, having your tasks organized and other little changes can get you off to a great day. Here are three tips about how to start your day positively.
When you have a busy morning, and from the moment you wake up, your day is unorganized, fast passing, and messy, this can contribute to a stressful day. There are a few things that you can incorporate into your routine that can bring calmness to your morning.
The main idea for a good start is to have some time to organize your mornings the day before. Organizing your task ahead will give you the sensation that you are ahead of your day, bringing a positive and calm state even before you wake up.
Let’s jump to the three steps to have a positive and calm morning.

This post is about How to start your day positively
1. Turn your brain off
It’s vital to relax your mind before going to bed; technology is a factor that can disrupt your sleep if you scroll through social media late at night—looking at a screen before bed can make you feel busy and put your brain in awake mode.
I have been in situations when my body is exhausted, but my brain is still working and overthinking. Reading a book or listening to music can slow you down in these situations. Other creative activities can help you, like painting or other craft projects.
If you feel overtired and have a busy next day, you can unwind by having a warm bath with some aromatic candles and relaxing music in the background.
Try what works best for you, but remember that you must relax your mind and body to sleep well.
2. Good sleep
For the human body to function correctly, it’s essential to have at least 8 hours of sleep. When you sleep well, you feel energized and have the best intentions to work on what the day brings. If you have difficulty sleeping and you wake up in the middle of the night overthinking, check what things are interrupting your night; here are some samples:
- Uncomfortable mattresses or sheets
- Outside noise
- Room temperature
- Clothes
- Room Ventilation
Once you identify those problems, make little changes to improve your sleep, such as getting an air purifier or humidifier, new soft sheets, or some earplugs for noises. Do whatever you need; sleep is essential for a healthy life and an organized day.
Another important tip that I find helpful is making your bed every day. This activity includes cleaning your room, making your bed, and leaving your space ready for a peaceful and comfortable sleep.
3. Plan your Activities
Try to plan your activities, set up your priorities and tasks to do, and organize your day. You can also take a few minutes before bed and organize your purse, backpack, clothes, and the things that may get in the way of your morning routine.
Setting up your activities will give a sense of organization and commitment; you will find that nothing can come through you and your day. By planning and prioritizing, you control your mornings and focus on the essential things.
You can organize and prioritize by having a journal or a scheduler; you can do it on your laptop, phone, or iPad, or if you are like me, write down all your tasks and put them in a visible place.

Okay Beauties, these are the three tips that I hope bring you peaceful and joyous mornings. Remember that not everything is perfect, and probably you might have some bumps in the road, but if you organize your time and space, that will open the door for a better outcome instead of a stressful and uncontrollable day.
