This Blog is all about How to be Optimistic
1. Challenge your Brain
In my experience, you can be more positive when you change your perspective and train your brain to receive the outcomes as a learning experience instead of a punishment.
For example, how do you expect a different outcome if you have a test and the mentality that you will fail? Instead, have a positive attitude, prepare, and if you still fail, learn from it. Ask yourself, What could I have done differently? Maybe study more?
Pessimists have a bigger chance of suffering from depression, low self-esteem, and unhappiness, so if you take the time and challenge your brain with a more positive view, you have a better perspective on what you can do to improve things.
2. Review Past Success
Instead of focusing on the bad outcome and bringing yourself into a negative thought, go back to a moment in the past when you were successful and review the feeling you had. Bring more bright ideas and write down what you can do better next time.
You can use your laptop or write a journal with those feelings and actions for coming events. For example, I am an old-school person and for me is better when I take the time to write down my ideas, thoughts, priorities, and goals in a journal.
You can find many journals online; check my Amazon Store for ideas.
3. Be grateful
Be thankful for the good things in your life, write down all your success and remember that don’t focus on the negative, keep your mind on the good and positive things in your life.
Being grateful can help you be more optimistic about what the future can bring and be open to the results no matter what they are.
4. Don’t focus on the future
Stay in the present! Don’t try to predict the future; things will go how they are supposed to; when you start thinking that things will be wrong, they might be.
Focus your energy on the present and put all your effort into doing the best you can now; everything will flow, and your stress thinking about the future will be less.
Remember that what you do now will be the beginning of what you are looking for in the future.
5. Tell yourself I can do it!
How do you expect to succeed if you don’t believe in yourself? One of the things I have learned in the past years is that no matter the obstacles, I always knew that I could get a job in my field, and after many years and hard work, I did it, and now I work for a great company.
Give yourself a palm in the back and remember that you are brave, capable, and most important, that you can do whatever your goal is. Positive thinking is the window for a happier, more successful, and more beautiful life, so love yourself, believe in yourself, and you will start seeing better results.
Okay Beauties! These are my 5 steps about how to be optimistic, remember that everything takes time, explore these ideas one day at a time, and the more you practice, the more you will see results.
