Hola Beauties! We live in a time where we are so consumed with surviving that we forget how to be happy and do the things we love and enjoy. Sometimes, it’s hard to stop and validate what is happening around us to ensure that we consider our personal priorities. Here are a few tips about how to balance your life and bring back joy to it.
Not everybody can afford to do what they love; we have bills to pay and people or pets to take care of. For example, I love blogging and doing my social media in beauty and selfcare, but unfortunately, I am not making a lot of money out of it yet, so I need to have a full-time job that pays well for me to continue with my hobbies.
In other cases, we try to do so much at once that we don’t find that balance and have a moment to breathe and rest.

1. Prioritize your days
We want to do everything at once, putting ourselves under so much pressure, leaving us exhausted and stressed. Make time for the things that matter to you, and balance your days by prioritizing the activities that make you happy. Look back and determine how you want to spend your days and give more attention; when you have a plan and priorities, you can enjoy your days and have more time for mental and physical health.
How to prioritize your days?
Ask yourself the following questions:
- What activities make you happy? Ex. Mine is working out, going for walks, and having time for my blog and social media.
- What are your favorite hobbies? Ex. Mine is Playing with makeup, going out for walks, having time to watch my favorite show, cooking, and writing a blog.
- What activities relax you? Ex Mine is taking a batch, working out, having a glass of wine while watching a movie or show, reading, and watching tutorials.
- What everyday activities do you need to incorporate but are not your favorites? Ex Mine is my full-time job. I work from home, so I know that from 8 to 4, I am busy with meetings. I always try to incorporate some of my favorite activities during my work time. For example, if I have some time between meetings to go for a walk, I do it or do a quick workout to relax my mind.
The vital part of this exercise is to open your mind to the things that you have left behind and look at what is your primary goal. Focus your time on the people and activities that are important.

2. Make changes in your routine
Once you start organizing and prioritizing your days, you can see exactly what changes you need to make to bring balance into your life. Everybody has different priorities; for some people, the family can be their number one focus; for others can be working on a new project or spending more time on their hobbies; whatever the case is, the important thing is to identify what is truly crucial in your life.
Remember to make changes by thinking about your goals and what brings you joy; life is too short not to enjoy it, so always put yourself and your loved one first.
