I have been receiving compliments about how much younger I look now that I am 38 🙈 and the secrets for it; first of all, there are no secrets, just a few changes here and there that helped me feel and look better.
This post is about 5 Changes, How to Look and Feel Younger.
Having a consistent skincare routine
Skincare is an essential part of my day and one of the most critical changes in my Five Lifestyle Changes to Look and Feel Younger. I have a morning and a night routine where I use different products depending on my needs. You don’t need to buy many products to add to your skincare, but in my opinion, it’s important to follow at least the following steps :
1. Use a cleanser for your skin type and wash your face day and night before bed.
2. Use SPF or at least a moisturizer with SPF. For example, I always buy moisturizers with SPF; that’s how I like it. I don’t want an extra step to my routine ( I already have too many 😂).
3. Always moisturize your skin day and night. There are so many affordable products with so many benefits that you have to find the one more suitable for your skin and problem areas.
4. NEVER go to bed with makeup on!! I practice this no matter how tired or late I am after a night out; I ALWAYS remove my makeup.
5. Apply a serum after your moisturizer. Find a serum based on your needs, giving your skin that extra boost.
6. Have at least a self-care day to use your favorite face masks.

Adding a workout routine to my day
This is probably the change that has helped me the most, not only because I look better physically but also because it helps me mentally. Working out is integral to my Five Lifestyle Changes to Look and Feel Younger.
I wouldn’t say I like gyms; I’ve never had🤷♀️ , so I have been working out at home for the past two years. I like that I am in my own space and can do my workout on my schedule.
Working out is essential for health reasons and because it helps with skin and mental health. My skin looks healthier and brighter since I started working out five times a week. When you work out, your body produces more collagen and cells.
At the same time, when I feel mentally tired from a long day of work or overthinking 😣, I can feel like leaving all that energy behind after I finish my routine, which is essential if you want to feel better.
You don’t need much. For example, I am subscribed to different workout YouTube channels and have seen excellent results since I started using many free programs in the past months.
At the same time, I got some equipment to add a bit more strength to my routines. I used weights for a while, but I’ve seen incredible leg results since incorporating resistance bands. I love them!

One last tip: When you work out, your body eliminates all harmful toxins through sweat. That’s why it is crucial not to wear makeup while doing your routine; this can block your pores.
Taking Vitamins
I can not believe it took me so long to realize the importance of vitamins and add them to my daily routine🙄 . I have been taking vitamins for the past year and can see a difference in my skin. Before taking anything, I recommend you check with your doctor since something that might work for me might not suit you.
I take four different types of vitamins: one for my skin, hair, and nails and another for my body.
Skin Vitamins
I take Collagen 30, Anti Wrinkle, and Hydration Glow. The results are great. I have seen an enormous change; my skin looks tighter, brighter, and overall healthy. This product is a game-changer.
Hair, Nails, and Skin Vitamins
I had always struggled with weak and breakable nails, so for that reason, I incorporated Hair, Nails, and Skin Vitamins into my routine. There is no favorite brand for this, but I go back and forth between Jamieson and Nature’s Bounty, depending on which one is on sale at my local store. 😆
I have seen an improvement, especially in my nails; they feel stronger and don’t break as much.
Body Vitamins
I take turmeric because it has fantastic benefits for your body, especially its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. I have bad knees from a previous injury, and this product helped reduce the pain. My go-to is the Jamieson vitamins; they are affordable, and I haven’t seen any bad reactions.
Another supplement that I have been taking is the New Nordic Active Liver. I added this supplement to my routine because I had skin problems. There were some white bumps in my jaw for a very long time until a friend mentioned having the same problem, and the reason for this was toxins in the liver.
I researched and found out that when your liver accumulates toxins from alcohol and food, this can affect your skin, metabolism, etc. This product really works! After 2 weeks of use, the bumps in my skin disappeared 😊. I take a tablet every day; I haven’t seen any bad reaction to this pill, but if you want to try it, check first; not everybody reacts the same.

Small changes in your food
Another significant change was my diet. I didn’t stop eating the things that I enjoyed. LIFE IS TOO SHORT, but I am more conscious of what I eat and put in my body. This is important if you want to see a difference in your skin and body in general. I try to eat vegetables and fruits in at least one of my meals every day.
Another essential is water. If you don’t drink enough water, your skin will look dehydrated and tired, and your chances of getting wrinkles will increase. I drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. Yes, there are lots of bathroom runs 😂 , but your skin will thank you.
Enjoy doing what you like
As I mentioned before, life is too short, and I am happier now that I enjoy my life more and do what I love without worrying about what other people might think.
You can have a great self-care routine, but if you are not happy with your life, however you feel, it will be reflected in your physical appearance.
Now that I am 38, people see me and think I am younger because I live the way I always wanted and do all those things I couldn’t in the past. Enjoy your life, and have no regrets; you will feel and look better once you leave behind all those barriers.
Okay, beauties. These are my Five Lifestyle Changes to Look and Feel younger. I hope you enjoy these tips and put them into practice, but remember, consistency is the key. Don’t expect changes immediately; it takes time, but hard work always pays off, and you will look amazing.
Love you all ❤
