Hola Beauties! Makeup by Mario came out with a new foundation that he called a complexion masterpiece. The foundation was launched in January 2023 and instantly became a viral tiktok product. I could not resist the hype, so I purchased it at Sephora Website. After a few days of trying out this product, here is my Makeup by Mario Surreal Skin Foundation Review<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Packaging<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The packaging is a slim glass bottle that contains 1 FL OZ\/ 30 ML. The bottle feels nice, is good quality, and comes with a pump. <\/p>\n\n\n

Formula<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is a lightweight liquid foundation that blends easily into the skin. I used a foundation brush and a sponge for the application, and both worked great; however, I liked the finish with the brush better since the sponge absorbs more product, and you have to apply more for extra coverage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foundation has MoistureGrip\u2122 technology that hydrates the skin for 12 hours. <\/p>\n\n\n

Finish<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This foundation provides buildable medium coverage. The finish is glowy and skin-like, and the formula does not feel heavy on the skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was happy with the results; my skin looked healthy and radiant, and the coverage was perfect for my preference. I have large pores in my cheeks, so I did notice a little texture in that area, but nothing crazy; at the end of the day, I have similar results with most foundations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another important point to mention, the foundation does not oxidate, which is fantastic. <\/p>\n\n\n

Longevity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This foundation is long-wearing; the times I tried it out, I wore my makeup for about 8 hours, and the foundation looked great by the end of the day. I don’t know if it will last longer than that, but 8 hours is a great mark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shades<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The foundation has 30 shades available for Light, Light – Medium, Medium, Medium-Dark, and Dark skin tones. I got the shade 120 – medium with warm and olive undertone<\/strong><\/a>, which was a perfect match. I am so impressed since I bought the foundation online, and it was perfect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Price<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This foundation retails for 42 USD, 55 CAD. The price is not super high compared to other foundations, but it is still a little high, for my preference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Thought<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Okay Beauties, in general, this is a nice foundation; I love the finish and formula; my skin looks healthy and glowy, and most importantly, it was really easy to find my shade. I see myself using this foundation, but I don’t think it will always be something I would purchase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t think this foundation is the best out there, but it is still a good one, and it’s worth trying if you are curious. I still prefer the Makeup Forever HD Skin Foundation<\/strong><\/a>; this one has been my favorite high-end since I tried it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can find affordable options that provide a similar finish to the Surreal Skin Foundation, like the NYX Born to Glow Foundation<\/a><\/strong>, for only $10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
