This is one of my favorite trends. Yes, it’s so 90s, but much better. Ombre Lips helps emphasize your lips and make them look more voluptuous. For this trend, you use a lip liner that is darker than your lipstick shade. The shades should be around the same color family, just slightly darker.

3. Blue Eyeshadow

This year, cool tones are back, especially blue. You can create beautiful and fun looks with pastel blues for the day and dark blues for a night out.

4. Velvet Skin

For the last couple of years, we have been into the natural dewy finish, what we call clean makeup girl. This year, the trend will continue. However, we will be looking into a more semi-matte finish. For this look, you can use a tinted moisturizer or light to medium foundation and finish it with a matte setting powder.

5. Red Lips

There is nothing like adding a pop of color to your makeup look with red lipstick. This year, red lips are trendy, and there are many options: bright red and vampy red. Whatever your option is, don’t be afraid to get bold and elevate your look.

7. Colorful Eyelashes

I love brown mascaras. They give your lashes a glamorous finish, but for 2024, colorful lashes are returning. We already see brands like Loreal and ColorPop with Red, Pink, Green, and Blue mascaras. This trend is fun and an opportunity to add color to your makeup look.

8. C Blush Sculpting

Contouring with blush instead of bronzer is a trend we saw in 2023 and will continue in 2024. This trend gives the illusion of high cheekbones; the technique involves applying matte powder or cream blush in a C shape from the temple down to the cheekbones. This trend is excellent when you want a minimalistic yet glamorous look.
