Hola Beauties! Covergirl has a new product as part of their Simply Ageless line: the Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence Foundation. I have been testing it for two weeks, and in this blog, I want to share my thoughts on this foundation, the formula, results, durability, and more.

This post is about the Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence.
1. Packaging
The packaging is nice and simple; the product comes in a transparent slim plastic bottle similar to the other Simply Ageless line products. The bottle has a pump and contains 30ml / 1 oz of product.
2. Formula
This a super lightweight liquid foundation that blends like a dream, and the application is effortless. The formula contains 0.5% bakuchiol, a plant-based retinol perfect for sensitive skin.
At the same time, the foundation also has tranexamic acid, which helps to reduce dark spots; it is 98% natural origin ingredients, is 71% water, and is a vegan and clean formula free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and mineral oil.
This is a unique product where the ingredients are encapsulated in pigmented small capsules that provide beautiful results once blended into your skin.
With continuing use, the skincare ingredients on this product can help reduce fine lines and dark spots and add firmness to your skin.
3. Results
Coverage
The foundation provides a light to medium coverage. This is a Hybrid Frsh Tint, so these products usually give this type of coverage.
You can use this product alone or add it to your favorite foundation for more coverage.
Finish
The finish is beautiful, very natural, and dewy. I love how healthy, fresh, and plump my skin looks; this foundation is a must-have for dry skin or combination. I don’t know how it will work on Oily skin, but they claim to be suitable for all skin types.
Longevity
I wore this foundation alone for over 10 hours, and my skin looked great by the end of the day. I have combination skin, so I always have to re-touch my t-zone because it gets oily, but other than that, the foundation did not move or look patchy.
Skin Reaction
No skin reactions; I also have sensitive skin, and this product worked great. I was a little worried since the foundation has a lot of skincare ingredients, and sometimes you don’t know how your skin would react, but so far, everything is fantastic.
4. Shades and Price
Unfortunately, the shade range is not wide. This tinted foundation comes in 8 shades only: Fair, Light, Light Medium, Medium, Medium Tan, Tan, Rich, and Deep.
I was skeptical about the shades, but it surprised me how the Medium Shade matched me perfectly.
The foundation retails for $21.49 USD, 27.99 CAD a high price for CoverGirl!
Where to Buy
Okay Beauties, I am obsessed with this foundation! I haven’t stopped using it; the formula is excellent, the finish is so natural, glowy, and beautiful, the skin looks like you have nothing on it, and the coverage is perfect for those natural or everyday makeup looks.
This foundation is also perfect for more mature skin because it is so lightweight that it doesn’t look cakey or enhance your pores or fine lines.
I highly recommend this product because it is an excellent foundation with impressive skincare ingredients that will change your skin complexion and reduce fine lines and wrinkles with daily use.
