This post is about Colourpop Uh-Huh Honey and Baby Got Peach Eyeshadow Palettes Review
My Colourpop Story
Colourpop eyeshadow palettes have always been on the list of brands I wanted to try someday. Their makeup is not easy to find in Canada, so the only option is to order online, which I am not a huge fan of, considering how delicate eyeshadows are and how much you pay for shipping.
Watching and reading beauty influencers’ reviews always make me curious about buying them, so I finally decided to give them a chance.
I bought 4 eye shadows palettes to start with :
1. Going Coconuts
2. Baby Got Peach
3. Uh – Huh Honey
4. Gold As Gold

Eyeshadow Palettes Impressions
I want to focus this post on the Colourpop Uh-Huh Honey and Baby Got Peach Review since these are the ones that got my attention the most. I didn’t have a full palette with yellow and peach tones in my collection, so I played with them first.
Packaging: πΊπΊπΊπΊ
The packaging is cute and of good quality. The eyeshadows come in a nine by a 9-inch rigid plastic container with the palette’s name on top in big print.
When you open them, both palettes have a decent size mirror. The eyeshadows are pressed in a metal pan attached to the package, so you can sometimes feel the eyeshadows move.
The shades’ name is printed inside and on a sticker at the back.
Palettes Shades: πΊπΊπΊ
ColourpopUh-huh Honey
Mattes 5: the shades are a bit similar; in my opinion, you can not create many different looks with this palette since once you apply them to the lid, they look almost the same, except for “Buzz Kill,” which is the darker shade in the palette.
Metallics 3: I like the metallics in this palette; they are beautiful, “Dandy” and “Queen B” are more of a gold tone, one darker than the other, and “Sunburst” is more of a yellow tone with green reflectors.
Glitter 1: Bright Yellow. I think this shade is pretty to add on top of the metallics for extra shine; however, it has too much fallout, so if you are going to use it, better to do your eye makeup before you apply your base.

Mattes 5: The shades are pretty, and you can create cute eye looks; however same as Uh-huh Honey, some of them are very similar, like “Perky” and “Okurr,” they look the same on my lid.
“Centerfold” is the shade that has more impact and is a beautiful peach that does not look similar to the other colors in the palette.
Metallics 3: Pretty Tones. “Get Even” is a peachy tone with golden reflectors. “Glaze it” is a beautiful dark peach, and “Ready or Yacht” is a bright peach with white sparkles.
Glitter 1: White; Iβm not a fan of this shade; they could add another matte shade to the palette instead of this glitter.
Blending and Pigmentation: πΊπΊπΊ Because the shimmers are incredible
The pigmentation in the mattes is okay but not great. When I tried to swatch them, I had to pick up the product around three times to see the color.
When I applied them to the lid, I had to dip the brush multiple times to build them. Simultaneously, it was hard to blend them, especially the darkest shades, there was a lot of patchiness, and it takes a lot of blending to get them to work finally, so be prepared for an arm workout, LOL.
For some reason, the shadows donβt work well together; if you apply one color, the blending is okay, but once you use a second shade, the patchiness gets bad; at least, thatβs what happened to me, so I was a little disappointed.
The metallics are gorgeous, super pigmented, and donβt have much fallout; you can use your fingers or a brush to apply them both ways; they look fantastic.
My favorite shades are “Queen B” from the Uh-huh Honey and “Get even” from Baby got peach; they are intense and look beautiful on the lid.
Durability: πΊπΊπΊπΊπΊ
Despite the fact that you have to work to build the shadows, I have to say that they do last all day, the first time I used Uh-huh Honey, I went to a house party ( This is after phase 3 in Ontario), and I wore my makeup for about 9 hours, by the time I took my makeup off, they still look perfect. The same with Baby got peach; my eye makeup lasts me for about 6 hours.
Final thoughts
Colourpop Uh-huh Honey
I enjoy the story of this palette; you don’t see many yellow eyeshadows palettes, which is why I decided to buy it even though it is not in my comfort zone. Even though the shadows are not great, and it takes a lot of work to make them look good, I like the final look I created.
I don’t see myself reaching out too much for this palette except to use the metallics since I think they are beautiful, and you can use them with other eye looks.
So my final thought, I don’t think you need this palette, but if you are looking for a fun summer yellow vibe without breaking the bank, I think this palette is a good start; keep in mind that you would have to work through the perfect look which for the price CAD 15 is not bad.
Colourpop Baby Got Peach
Even though I do think this palette is pretty, in my opinion, I don’t think you need it. Looking deeply into the shades and other palettes in my collection, I can see that I already have some of them, except for “Get Even” and “CenterFold.”
So when you think about it, if I want to get only these two shades, it will be around 6 CAD Each (Price of single pressed powder shadows ), you are getting a whole palette for CAD 15, so it is fair.
My final thought, same as Uh-huh Honey, is if you are looking for an all-peachy palette but you don’t want to spend too much money, this is a good option, but you have to keep in mind that the quality of the mattes is not the best, at least in my opinion.
Okay, Beauties, that is my Colourpop Uh-Huh Honey and Baby Got Peach Review; please let me know your thoughts on these palettes in the comments.
