Today, I am sharing the Best Makeup Dupes from 2021. These products are near-exact dupes, and some perform better than the expensive option.

It took me some time to come up with this list; I have seen so many posts and videos about dupes, but to be honest, not all of them are dupes or perform close to them.
I want to give amazing, affordable options that can replace your favorite high-end makeup products. This article is focused on Face Makeup dupes. I am working on a second part for the Eyes and Lips makeup.

Best Primer Dupes
Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer
This primer is great, provides excellent hydration, and prolongs your makeup; however, it retails for USD 34 and CAD 44.
An amazing dupe for this product is the Hard Candy Hydrating Primer. This product delivers the same results: the same sticky feeling that helps your makeup last longer, and, best of all, it retails for only 6.96 USD or 8 CAD.

Benefit Porefessional Pore Minimizing Primer
This is one of the most popular high-end primers; it minimizes the appearance of your pores and fine lines, providing a smoother canvas for your makeup. This primer retails for 32 USD or 43 CAD.
I found a very affordable option that, in my opinion, performs just as well as, or even better than, the Benefit primer: the Makeup Revolution Pore Blur. This product retails for 8 USD and 12 CAD and has 0.95 Oz, more than the Benefit, which has 0.75 oz. The formula and results are identical.

Best Tinted Moisturizer Dupe
Urban Decay Hydromaniac Glowy Tinted Hydrator
This is a nice product that provides medium coverage, leaving the skin hydrated and with a beautiful, natural glowy finish. This tinted moisturizer also contains kombucha and retails for 29 USD, 39 CAD.
A product I tried this year that immediately reminded me of the Urban Decay Foundation is the Essence Pretty Natural Hydrating Foundation.
This product provides great hydration, leaves skin with a glowy finish, offers light-to-medium coverage, and is long-lasting. I don’t think they are exact dupes, but they are pretty close; the Essence foundation contains Hyaluronic acid and Aloe Vera.
This product retails for 4.99 USD and 8.99 CAD and has 29 shades. Urban Decay has 15 shades.

Best Face Powders Dupes
HourGlass Veil Translucent Setting Powder
This is a nice finish powder that provides a natural, radiant finish. I tried this powder in the past, and the final results are pretty; there is no doubt of that, but this product only comes in one shade and retails for 46 USD, 60 CAD; that’s A LOT.
I recently added the Elf Cosmetics Halo Glow Setting Powder to my collection, and it delivers the same results as the Hourglass.
This powder is silky; you can use it to set up your under-eye area and face. The finish is flawless, with a hint of glow. Best of all, this product retails for only 8 USD or 10 CAD and comes in different shades.

Best Cream Blush Dupe
Fenty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush in Pinky Promise
This beautiful pink blush is super pigmented, blends beautifully, and lasts all day. The price is not as high as other high-end cream blushes; it retails for 20 USD, 26 CAD. However, there is a product that is an exact dupe and only 6 USD/7.99 CAD: the Elf Cosmetics Putty Blush in Bora Bora.
This cream blush formula is almost identical to the Fenty Blushes: a little bit goes a long way, blends really nicely, and is long-lasting. This specific shade is the same.
Elf cream blushes are also infused with Argan Oil and Vitamin E.

Best Bronzer Dupe
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Matte Bronzer
A beautiful matte bronzer that provides a flawless finish and blends like a dream; however, this product is very expensive, 55 USD, 65 CAD.
A drugstore product that provides the same results, the formula is almost identical, and one of the bronzers out there is the Milani Silky Matte Bronzer. This bronzer retails for 10.99 USD, 12.99 CAD.

Best Highlighter Dupe
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter
This is one of the most beautiful highlighters out there; the incredible formula is super smooth and feels like butter. As you might know already, Becca is out of business, so this product will eventually be hard to find.
However, a drugstore product that is an exact dupe for this holy grail is the Wet N Wild Megaglo Highlighter. The formula is very similar; they both feel buttery. Maybe the Wet N Wild one is a bit more powdery, but once you apply it, you cannot see the difference.
