These foundations are all part of my collection; I had the chance to play with them, so this is my opinion according to my experience; please keep in mind that not everything works the same for everybody but to give you a better idea, I have combination skin and all the products work great on me.
Okay, Let’s start with this article and the Best Drugstore Foundations from 2020.
This post is about the Best Drugstore Foundations from 2020.
Loreal Infallible 24h Fresh Wear
This foundation is medium coverage but can be built to full. The best thing about it, the finish is very natural and doesn’t look cakey. This is a liquid formula that is long-wearing, water, and sweatproof.
This product comes in 30 shades; I use 470 Radiant Honey for reference. The packaging is a nice, practical glass bottle ( not heavy) with a pump. The foundation has a scent that is fresh but not overwhelming.
I like to use a hydrating primer with this foundation, especially when I use it during the cold season.
Revlon Candid Foundation
This is one of my favorite foundations of 2020. The formula is more on the creamy side. The medium coverage gives a natural, flawless matte finish that lasts all day. This foundation also comes in a dewy version, but I haven’t been able to try it; it is on my list. 😉
This Product comes in 31 shades and is free of oils and parabens. The Revlon candid foundation ingredients are specifically to protect your skin from pollution, anti-blue light, and antioxidants. For reference, I Use 270 Medium Beige.
The package is a plastic tube with a pump lightweight and practical.
NYX Born to Glow
This liquid medium coverage foundation blends beautifully into the skin, providing a beautiful, radiant finish and making the skin feel hydrated.
This product has 45 Shades; for reference, I use Beige. One of the ingredients in this foundation is Vitamin C, which is a plus. My only complaint, the packing is not very practical; it comes in a plastic tube without a pump, and you have to squeeze the product in your hand or directly into your skin. I like to use a dewy primer for an extra glow.
Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation
This full-coverage lightweight foundation provides a natural matte finish that lasts all day. This is my go-to foundation when I want that glam look for special occasions.
This product comes in 26 shades; I use Natural Beige for reference. The formula is gluten, alcohol, and oil-free. The packing is a glass bottle with a dropper applicator. I like to use a hydration primer with this foundation and blend it with a brush and sponge for that flawless look.
Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation
This foundation claims to be Full Coverage; I think it is more on the medium side; you can build it for more coverage but not full.
This product has been another one of my favorites this year. The formula is lightweight, has an SPF of 50, and has antioxidant ingredients against pollution. I love the finish; it is very natural, and the skin looks healthy with a little glow.
The packaging is a plastic tube, and you must squeeze the product into your hand or face, similar to the NYX one. The foundation comes in 16 shades; I use 220 Natural Beige for reference.
Colourpop Pretty Fresh Foundation ( HONOUR MENTION)
I love this foundation; my only complaint is getting it in Canada; the only way is to get it online on their website or Ulta.com. This product is medium coverage; the finish is natural, healthy, glowy, and lasts all day.
The formula is lightweight, vegan, and oil-free; it contains hyaluronic acid and coconut water, so the skin feels hydrated.
This foundation comes in 42 shades and is suitable for all skin types; for reference, I use Medium 85N.
Okay Beauties! I hope this Best Drugstore Foundations from 2020 guide helps you; remember that not all the products work the same, so please keep that in mind.
As I mentioned, I have combo skin, so I usually use two different types of primers, one for my T zone ( Matte) and another for the rest of my face where I get dry (Hydrating).
Please feel free to comment and let me know your favorite drugstore foundations or any recommendations you might have.
